In the first round, lots of upsets surround the NHL playoffs.
I wont do many NHL posts, but when its playoff time in any sport its kind of important.
The biggest would have had Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals number one seed lost to the Montreal Canadians.
Both the two and three seeds in the New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres lost to the #7 Philadelphia Flyers and #6 Boston Bruins.
I guess the goalie star of the US team Ryan Miller and his Sabres couldn’t hold off the Boston Bruins.
Lastly, the #5 Detroit Red Wings beat the #4 Phoenix Coyotes in seven games.
For the east coast kids at Indiana University hockey is big right now if there team is in the playoffs, but for a Cali kid like me I’m rooting for the San Jose Sharks if I had to choose a team.
There will be a NBA rd 2 post coming soon…
